Hi, my name's Natalia Ventre. I'm a graphic designer from Montevideo, Uruguay, but since 2005 I've been working mostly on web design and became passionate about all things Internet: HTML/CSS, usability, WordPress, social media, blogging, etc. etc.

How did I get here? I love languages, besides Spanish (my mother's tongue) I'm fluent in English and I took German lessons for a couple of years. I considered being an English teacher, but while I was writing the essay for the admission, I realized that teaching is not my thing. I kept on looking for career options and I found design. Design is visual communication; colors and shapes are languages too, so I ended up working with I like.

What's my hobby? I read. A lot. I enjoy reading and I read very fast, so I take advantage of that skill by reading blogs and books about design, web development and online marketing to keep me updated and learn new stuff.

What's my other hobby? Can you tell? My other hobby is writing, but it's not going to be a hobby for a long time, because I'm going to start writing professionally soon.

Do I have a secret power? Yes, I can design and code templates for any kind of dynamic site: blogs, forums, e-commerce. My CMS of choice is WordPress, but you name it, I can create a template for it.
